White Squaw Currant

Bushy, weak-stemmed shrub.
Leaves 1 in (2.5 cm), nearly round to shallowly three- or five-lobed, grayish; musky odor when crushed. Flowers 0.8 in (2 cm), white to pink, tubular. Berries are red; 0.3 in (0.8 cm). Height: 5 ft (1.5 m).
Low-elevation forests, clearings, plains, scrub, plateaus.
British Columbia to Californa and east to the Dakotas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
