Joshua Jackson Looks Into Ocean Acidification
The shellfish industry is struggling to cope with the acidification of the water which is killing all available life. This process of water acidification when the burning of fossil fuels emits large amounts of CO2 that is then absorbed by our oceans leading to a change in the water chemistry. If this continues in just over 35 years, we could see a large scale extinction of marine life, spelling disaster for our own survival.
