Kevin Barrows is a former FBI agent who worked for the New York division of the bureau in the late 1990s to early 2000s. He was the lead case agent on two of the largest while collar crime cases in U.S. history, the first being Operation Uptick, which led to the arrest of over 120 individuals including top members of several organized crime families. In 2000, Barrows received the coveted Department of Justice’s Director’s Award for Outstanding Contributions in Law Enforcement. Today, Barrows is a private investigator and principal of Renaissance Associates, an investigative and computer forensic firm in New York. He is also the security consultant for the National Hockey League and has co-written and hosted training videos for the NHL, NFL, and MLB on topics pertaining to Identity Theft and Internet Security.
