It’s a wild afternoon in Sydney as hailstones, rain, lighting and winds hit the harbour city.
Journalist Mike Morrow captured a stunning shot of lighting hitting the iconic Sydney Tower.
This isn’t the first time the tower has been caught in a lighting storm. In both 2013 and 2014, the city’s tallest tower was in the firing line.
“It could be quite a damaging afternoon if you happen to be unlucky enough to be caught underneath these storms,” according to State Emergency Service spokesman Phil Campbell.
Severe weather warning have also been issued across Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland and the rest of New South Wales.
