Hotel Palacio del Inka

A storied mansion dating back nearly five centuries, Palacio del Inka stands in the historic center of Cusco. Directly across from the Koricancha, it is a five-minute walk from the main square and less than a mile from an array of museums, markets, and restaurants. Uniting the past and present, Palacio del Inka Spa presents indigenous treatments and an indoor therapy pool. Meanwhile, Inti Raymi Restaurant offers authentic Peruvian dishes, while a variety of meeting and events venues invites guests to host an enchanting occasion. Exquisitely appointed guest rooms combine Peruvian art and handcrafted furnishings with contemporary amenities—from a signature Luxury Collection bed to state-of-the-art technology, including an LED TV, High Speed Internet Access, and an iPod docking station.

Mountain Lodges of Peru

The lodges were built in 2007 according to bio-climatic architectural standards to incorporate local materials, such as adobe, stone, thatched roofs, and blend into the environment. The first lodge has 12 rooms since groups spend two nights there, and the other 3 lodges only have 6 rooms each. All rooms have private bathrooms, individual heating controls, and all amenities. The first 3 lodges have a jacuzzi and all provide massage service. They are decorated to represent the surrounding environment: for example the first lodge at Salkantay has colors and images of Inka royalty as it is located at the base of Mt Salkantay, the second most sacred mountain for the Inkas. The second and highest in elevation is decorated with images of religious pilmigrages and stone cairns, to highlight the religious symbolism of mountains for the local people. The third is situated already in the cloud forest (birds, butterflies, greenery) and it features hats and instruments from traditional Peruvian festivals to celebrate life and joy. The fourth lodge nestled in coffee and avocado orchards is dedicated to nature, with indoor plants and large photographs of flowers.
