About the Show
When Colin and Sandra Baker move to the mining town of Warrego on the edge of the desert to run the local school, they have little idea of the challenges ahead of them. The gold mine closes shortly thereafter and, almost overnight, Warrego became a ghost town. Even with no students, Colin and Sandra aren't about to turn their backs. To keep their school going and save their jobs, Colin and Sandra set about finding a way to encourage the children from a remote Aboriginal community to come to Bush School.
