About the Show
300 million years ago, before the dinosaurs, cockroaches roamed the Earth. Fast, powerful, and equipped with body armour, the cockroaches of today thrive with their prehistoric structures virtually unchanged. We've tried exterminating them, but still they survive. Rumour has it that after a nuclear blast, cockroaches will be the only creatures left living. How could that be? To find out, we need to unlock their secrets. Cockroaches don't bite, yet they evoke universal disgust, bordering on irrational fear. Having mastered the ways of nearly every city in the world, they're here to stay. In Taipei, one man stands between us and our disgust for these insects. Cockroach lover Dr. JT Lin is on a mission - he believes cockroaches deserve respect and wants to change our views about the common roach.
