About the Show
They're amazing assassins, and they've learned their skills from a master. Using the force of the sea like a liquid skateboard, they look, they listen, and they calculate their chance of success. Then, the black and white, 5-ton tsunamis surge from the watery depths to seize prey from the dry beach before sliding silently back into the water. They're the only pod of orcas in the world to have perfected this technique. Now they're taking their hunting strategies to a level never seen – anywhere – before. For years the orcas of Valdez Bay have been intentionally stranding themselves to hunt juvenile sea lions: now, females in the pod are targeting three-times larger elephant seals.
