Introduction Robert Foucault
Robert Foucault is the Mechanical Engineer and Roboticist aboard the first flight to Mars and suggests that it is an absolute blessing to represent the human race as a coloniser on a foreign and distant planet. Foucault says that he committed to going to Mars approximately three years ago when discussions were first being tabled as to the nature of the crew that would be required. When asked why he wanted to go, Foucault suggested that it would be an achievement of monumental proportions and that it would reinforce his belief that if you can have faith in something then it can always come true. Ultimately, it would be a blessing for Robert to be one of the few astronauts able to first touch down on Mars.
