These beautiful tiger sharks were filmed swimming off the coast of South Africa. Tiger sharks are essential to maintaining the balance of the oceanic ecosystem. They can grow up to 4.26 metres and weigh up to 635 kilograms. They are not picky eaters. Tires, license plates, unexploded munitions, and even a suit of armour have been found in their stomachs. Their conservation status is “Near Threatened” due to overfishing.
